Dana Slatkin’s Violet is poised to open this week in Westwood Village. This French bistro, which is located in the old Sak’s spot, will serve lunch Monday through Friday and dinner all week. Chef Camden Hershberger previously was the Chef de Cuisine at Tartine Bakery in DTLA and has had stints at Tallula’s, Restoration Kitchen and Wine and the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group.

In addition to the bistro, there is a cooking school, with classes already scheduled, and a shop. Take a peek at their menu here.
